ReefSMART is an exposition put on by the non-profit organization Sustainable Reef.  Usually bi-annually, (we have been known to slip in a third show) the expo consists of business vendors, manufacturers, hobbyist sellers - also cool DIY demos and round-table style talks with local experts.  In a nutshell, ReefSMART brings the best of the best from the carolinas and beyond - all to one place for your convenience! 

There is always some kind of free swag handed out at the door to attendees (about 400 - 500 of them so far, but we get more every show) usually a door bag with sponsor logos on them that are stuffed with goodies.  Hydrometers, putty sticks, fish food - no telling what we will have at the next one!  Of course, no ReefSMART is complete without a super raffle - sometimes there are so many items that the raffle is running all day!  You always get a free door ticket when you come in, but for just a few dollars you can play big, and maybe win that calcium reactor that you have had your eye on. 

Since Sustainable Reef is non-profit, all the work for ReefSMART is done by volunteer staff.  Any profits made from the show is put aside for use in later expos - to fly in speakers for a national event, get T-shirts - whatever the kitty allows for.  If you would like to be a part of the expo, we have many jobs available - just contact expo@sustainablereef.com for details!
