That’s why our Fun & Education experience is designed to feel natural, engaging, and hands-on. Helping shape that experience is Sarah Golden of Tank Goodness—a true force in the hobby. Sarah has made her mark at shows across the country by blending education and entertainment so seamlessly that you don’t even realize you’re learning…or maybe even recognizing her in her costume!
In Mermaid Cove, the adventure kicks off as most underwater adventures do - on the beach! This tropical lagoon is home to three mermaids who lead the shore-side fun. You notice another mermaid just inside the waves, and she beckons to you to leave the sun behind - and gives you valuable knowledge for your journey into the depths of the sea. The bright beach vibes fade into deep, immersive blues. The design makes you feel like you're physically moving beneath the surface, navigating past various levels of sea creatures. The final mermaid waits in the cave of the Amazing Diveman - will you brave this immersive adventure and emerge with a treasure, or be lost to Davy Jones' Locker?
The judging for this event will take place at 3:30pm, but the competitors will be there starting at 10am.
